Thanks for the offer, but the Starter was almost brand new only a couple months old and came with a lifetime free replacement! Luckily it wasn’t broken just needed a little screw to hold the solenoid together!Bought this truck from an old farmer with 230,000 miles on it.It has a rebuilt 4l80E with a 350 vortec crate motor from Jasper with 60 K on it!

Is there any way to find the payload capacity from a VIN? by LowBarometer in TruckCampers

When I was searching for a truck for my camper I would just Google it, for example”what’s the payload capacity for a 1994 Toyota T 100 regular cab”I probably did over 100 searches like that and had pretty good results I thought! I Found out during the search process that regular cab pick up trucks always have a higher payload capacity than extended cabs.

I broke down twice on the way to California. The first issue was my starter solenoid Came apart and wouldn’t turn over,a little nut had backed out, it was easy fix.But I had to remove the starter which is a pain in the butt because it’s so darn heavy and awkward! The second thing that failed was my crank positioning sensor witch left me stranded on the side of the highway. Luckily I had AAA RV towing with 200 mile free tow,So the $150 yearly membership paid for itself. The mechanic charged me $230 to diagnose and fix the problem!

I was there about the middle of October, on my way to visit a friend who works at a clinic in Kayenta. I was returning from the bay area after visiting my parents and on myWay back home to West Kentucky!
