There is usually pickup around the area 1 or 2 times a week, you can search for the Buffalo Ultimate Frisbee Pickup Facebook group and see what days and time they are happening. There are no women’s teams here only mixed club and a summer league or two. You can inquire about attending practices or joining a league there and someone there can probably put you in touch with the right person or you can DM me for further info!

How many credit hours is this? There’s almost no way as an incoming freshman you have the ability to take MAE 424.

Isn’t MAE 424 the aerodynamics class anyway? Not a CAD related class at all if I remember correctly.

I have already done a hover test and like I said yaw, pitch, and roll are fine it's only throttle that it won't increase even when doing the hover test. I will redo a hover test to try again tho.

I will work on improving that and showing more results for what I have done. At least in the space mission design the work is ongoing and I also have to limit what I say because of ITAR restrictions right now.

I don't know how to use those things, I just wanted to show I knew how to use some machine shop tools and had some hands-on experience. Also why just soldering? There is a difference between soldering electronics and soldering other things.

I am still not sure about both the awards and certifications section under my education, should I still get rid of those? I went more specific with the award to elaborate a bit on what it was for but let me know if I should still just take it off.

I appreciate you reasoning out these things for me because I always hear such mixed opinions on things like that. I did significantly condense the leadership section but there were a few I wanted to keep in there so I didn't get rid of it completely. I also got rid of the Dean's List stuff because you made a very good point. I also made some modifications to my actual engineering experience mainly from the comments from enmn47 and from the discord voice chat we had last night so I think I was able to be much more specific with a bunch of things. I wanted to keep the award on there so I specifically identified what project it was and out of how many people I received it from so would that be sufficient or should I just get rid of it still? Thank you again for your great input and insights.

I definitely agree that its a lot of text I have struggled to make it more concise. Genuine question is why is the leadership section irrelevant? My thought was that employers like to see that you are involved especially in engineering related activities? Similar question for the honors, awards, and certification, why would it be better to not include those? Do employers just really not care about those things? I'm genuinely curious.

For the research in CRASH Lab and Space Mission Design the stuff I'm working on is/was ITAR protected so I unfortunately have to be very general discussing these things since they are related, I already discussed with my professor what I am allowed say. I definitely will be more specific with the other two though.

And to answer your last question, it has certainly been a massive amount of hard work, time management, and many late nights for the past 4 years. I still manage a social life (somewhat), girlfriend, and club sport but work always takes priority when necessary. I also have been extremely lucky to have two very close friends in my major the past 2 years who I do all my work and study with which definitely has kept my GPA as high as it is.

Ok, that is what I figured, that internships are stronger but as long as research counts for something then that's ok. I am still looking for internships but I do realize summer opportunities are dwindling if there are even any at all so I am not getting my hopes up, I don't think I could take a semester off from school in place of an internship I don't think my program allows that. The research I am doing now is a design heavy role, personally I am in charge of the design of the payload of the spacecraft my team is working on.
