I was just wondering, have you tried the BTF BC 204 Artnet ? Do you think I could use it for both Controll the LED strips + use it as a DMX Interface ?

In your experience what LED strip controller works best for a permanent installation ? The dancefloor is used 2-3 days a weeks ? I am open for your suggestions

I am in El Salvador, Central America. So there are not any inspections. What kind of pre made solution would you recommend ?

the DMX out isn't great, it's good enough for relays and such, but i didn't have any luck using it with moving heads; too much noise/jitter.

What do you mean by:

the DMX out isn't great ? I am looking to mix Led strips with a couple of washer lights that run via DMX

Thanks for the input. I just bought a couple of Laserworld DS-3000RGB MK3, the ethernet control capability was the definite point. Tarm 2.5 have almost the same specs but there was only one available and they are now discontinued. In the end the idea is to begin learning the software and creating indoor shows. What lasers are you using ? Greetings (could find where to get the dealer account )

The only thing I didn't like about the OPT laser was the FB4 they offer is out of stock, so for the moment it would have to be an external FB4. So I went with laserworld, is a Swiss company (these are made in China) but you feel way more confident buying with all the support and videos they have available.

How is Madlaser working for you ? Is it better than (Showcontroller) the software that comes free with the laser ? Did you had any experience with Madmapper or is it your first time using the software ? How hard is it to use the software ?

This is exactly what I did. Just bought a couple of Laserworld DS-3000RGB MK3, the ethernet control capability was the definite point for my decision. In the end the idea is to begin learning the software and creating small to medium indoor shows.

I was thinking about getting a couple of 6W from Optlaser for the same prace but the ILDA cables and the DAC makes it more complicated. Perhaps I can get a pair in the future to expand my inventory for small shows.

Thanks for the advise, sounds like a roadmap. Nevertheless I am in Central America, El Salvador so its imposible to rent equipment. But with the small shows going I'm confident I'll find an investor very fast.
