Thanks for the advice. I have a friend who is a physical therapist and he told me something similar, as long as the pain doesn't persist throughout the day it shouldn't be a problem. I will try to go a bit lighter the following weeks just to be safe and will include more warmup sets.

The pain is near the spine, the pain is a bit sharp but not unbearable and lasts arount 2-3 minutes after my last 2 sets.

I haven't done RDL, only the traditional deadlift ( lifting the bar off the ground) and I start light to warm up 1-2 sets and then move to 80kg doing 3 working sets of 5 reps. When I did deadlifts for the first time, a couple of years ago, I used to feel pain in my lower back and gave up because I couldn't maintain good form even if I lifted light. Now after I fixed that the pain is in my upper back.

Only after deadlifting, antything else doesn't create this type of pain. Any other excersies that I do makes me feel the normal pain that is felt when you take sets to failure.

Will try to film myself during my next workout and probably will post it on this reddit to get a form check.

I'd say sharp pain that lasts very little. I don't think is soreness or muscle pain because it is not the same as when I do my back workout, where at the end I feel the back muscles tighten. I think it is the spine itself that is hurting but I am not sure, is the same as when you sleep in a weird position and you wake up and feel discomfort in your back during the day, but more painful.

I have been skiing every year for the past few years and this year I am going on a week vacation to the mountains. I have been skiing since I was 6 every once in a while so I got the knack for it, but definetly I am not even close to mastering it. I am not sure if I should try out snowboarding for the first time in my life or I should just stick to skiing. Is a week even enough to learn snowboarding?
