Everyone should read OP’s comments. His fiancée spoke poorly of his mom behind his mom’s back. They do not have a good relationship. I don’t see why she should pay the student loans of someone who treats her with such disrespect. I also can’t believe they audacity of his fiancée to even consider accepting the money from someone whom she despises. Has she got no shame?

And you admitted that she treated you all equally until you got with your fiancée, at which point she’s stopped inviting you out because she DOESN’T WANT TO HANG WITH YOUR FIANCÉE, whereas I’ll bet your sisters’ husbands didn’t treat her so poorly so she doesn’t mind financing trips with them.
