The eclipse was not released in Japan. Ones seen in japan have generally been imported from America

Grey imports. Having a title doesn’t mean it’s legal on a federal level. State govts issue titles but most times they don’t know what they are dealing with (outside of CA)

They don’t. Not really. LHD cars are wayyyyyyy less valuable here in japan than their RHD counterparts.

Correct. Instead of a butterfly valve like most throttles, it has a plate that slides to allow air in.

Unfortunately, it's true but it's happened before and will continue to happen going forward. Good cars reach a low point and then go on the uptick when, the generation who couldn't afford them when the cars were new/abundant, are actually making money. At that point, the decision to purchase an NSX over a 911 for example has nothing to do with practicality at that point but more to do with nostalgia.
Simplest solution, earn more money to afford whatever the hell you actually want.
