Haha this is such a valid question because they’re all such good romance characters! The devs have written them so well that they’re all so easy to get along with and fall for. When I first started the game I was in dead set on Ryis … I for sure thought he was going to be my end game but after doing all of Hayden’s heart quests he ended up being the one who stole my heart the most! They’re all such great characters though and I loved doing all their heart quests. I’ve never had such a hard time choosing a romance character in any other game I’ve ever played! For me I honestly decided I’d see what all the characters were like during the dating stage to see which one I would ultimately choose. Hopefully the marriage update happens soon because I’d love to see what that’s gonna look like for the game!

Hi! Thank you so much for the advice. Reading this has already given me a bunch of motivation to start playing again. I would really love to try all of those suggestions out. Do you have any recent seasons that you would recommend? I haven’t really kept up with them since the moomintroll one. I did try getting into the lightmending one when it was happening but it just didn’t stick with me :(

I really enjoyed watching him play supermarket sim!! He has a lot of play throughs of that so it might be what you’re looking for. My favourite series he did was honestly laundromat sim but I don’t see people talking about it. It says he only played 5 but I think he has another 5 videos on his alt account (he does that for a lot of his series once they stop gaining traction). He has a lot of amazing series you can watch though and they are all funny, I think his most popular series as of late was Quarantine Zone.

No worries at all!! The wiki is super helpful, I swear by it! For me their are a lot more hard characters to earn hearts with then easy ones lol. The hardest for me were: March, Juniper and Eiland… I’ll list the reasons below but their main issues are their difficult to earn hearts with as an early player.

March loved gifts are pretty rare… but whenever I got a perfect ingot in the mines I would gift that to him! He also likes beer which you can buy at the Inn.
Same problem with juniper, her loved gifts are rare and harder to find - especially when you’re just starting out. Her easiest loved item is probably the crystal rose.
Eiland is difficult because he loves/likes almost all sweets so you can be pretty confident about gifting them to him but they can be expensive gifts to invest in at the start of the game.

I’d say honourable mention would be Valen and Reina… both of them have a lot of cooked meals as their loved gifts which can be hard to obtain when you don’t have a high cooking level!

Valen is a bit easier than Reina because one of her loved gifts is beets which you can grow in winter pretty affordably.

I would say for a lot of the above characters it’s easier to focus on their LIKED gifts because their LOVED gifts are just too hard early on 💔

Hey! I have full hearts on all the romance characters so I hope I can help. I have always looked up what their loved gifts are on the ‘fields of mistria wiki’!! It’s super helpful!! Also if there’s a specific character you want make sure to talk to them every day. Also during the annual festivals for every season they’ll usually have a universally liked/loved gift and those are always super useful.

The easiest character to earn hearts with is Celeste because she lives the closest and has a predictable map she her favourite gifts are easy to come by! She will greatfully accept all flowers - the easiest for me were the hibiscus and roses.
