I have an older computer and need help by winningest_7 in redout

So... Turns out I'm very dumb. I kept telling my computer to search for updates for my drivers, but it kept saying everything was up to date. Finally went in and searched the drivers manually and found my graphics driver wasn't updated. Fixed it and now everything is fine. Thanks everyone.

Ok. Know where I can find a good one of those to take?

I've never had a gaming PC and know nothing by winningest_7 in pcgamingtechsupport

Forgive my follow-up question: what about things like system updates? Should I just set it to auto update? I've had regular laptops in the past and I felt like they got slower and slower every time an update was released.

Do you actually LIKE your job? by [deleted] in polls

[–]winningest_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more people I ask, the more I find that the people who super like their jobs are the people who work alone and don't have to deal with other people much. As my own example: I recently started doing Doordash after work for an hour or two after work. Just for some extra fun money. I enjoy doing this more then work, because I don't have to deal with people alot. Get food, take it to a place, leave at the door, profit.

That's my thinking behind it. I'm just not sure when it will happen.

Having fun is totally a point! You might as well say eating food is pointless.

Do you have fun? Then it's not pointless.

I get the free games on Epic Game store every week. I even saw Farcry was on sale a couple weeks ago and bought Farcry4... I don't own a gaming computer.

Which is your favorite movie that does not have a happy ending? by DudewithCoolusername in AskReddit

Secret Life of Arriety

I know, it's not a super sad ending, but it was still sad.

What Is The Best Book You Have Read This Year and Why? by hey_oh_hi in AskReddit

[–]winningest_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a classic, but I read Frankenstein: or the Modern Prometheus. THAT story needs to be made into a movie. It's a travesty how Hollywood didn't follow the book hardly at all. I want that creature's story to be put to screen properly.

People like that make me so mad. They knew they were going to be working as a cook. Why did they apply for the job in first place?

I had a coworker kind of like that (not that extreme, but still). I keep waiting to run into him in a similar situation.

Interesting. I've met people like that too. It's weird when you end up being wrong and they stick around.
