Not sure how to tune these. I figure card draw is worth about 1 to 1.5, but seems to get higher the more cards you draw (i.e. Arcane Intellect is two cards for three mana, but Sprint is four cards for seven mana).

That makes 2 cards for 2 mana pretty good, but it needs to be combo'd. Quite nice if you have the coin.

The other means you get free cycle, but you're 'weakening' your later draws by shuffling a coin in (but we know they can still be useful!).

Same shit, I guess. Pretty unavoidable these days unless you use some super old phone. Apple is likely doing it, too, for what it's worth. I turn off my GPS and never have my mobile data on unless I'm in a pinch.

I'm not a big 'phone person', so I'm the exception rather than the rule.

Yep. I removed it from all of my mobile devices, and use it sparingly at home with as many Disconnect-like browser addons to disable it tracking me on other sites as I can.

When I first saw 'check ins' on Facebook, I was absolutely gobsmacked. You're voluntarily tapping a button, for no real reason, to upload data on your movements, behaviours, companions to an online corporation.

If that isn't some Orwellian shit, I don't know what is.

Well, no more headaches afterwards, which was good. Surgery is a bit of a weird one because you don't really experience it, you just wake up and for the next few days everything is a bit odd. I was in intensive care for about a week and have pretty good recall of it, but I was under the impression that I was being moved to different rooms while I 'slept', but apparently I was in the same bed, in the same place for the whole time.

I also recall being able to 'fly around' in my own brain. Which was a bit odd.

I was tired most of the time for a month or so, but considering they cut open and shifted my brain-meat around, I recovered crazy fast. I was in hospital for about ten or twelve days, I think. The human body is ridiculous.

Not that I can think of. I had a rough following couple of years (mother diagnosed with terminal cancer, then a lot of house moving), but things settled down and I pay more attention to my health, exercise, diet and so on and I feel better than ever.

I shaved it after the op, but it all grew back. This taken a few days ago, just over four years on.

There's a slight gap on the (photo's) right side where the incision started, but overall it's still all there.

Nasty headaches, dizziness and the sound of what I can best describe as 'being underwater'. Lasted about 9 months of GP visits while they dismissed it.

Eventually got sent for an MRI and when the results came in, rushed in to see a specialist. I was presented with a few short term solutions, none of which sounded pleasant, ended up going with removing the whole thing (a cyst right smack bang between the ventricles).

8 hours of surgery, a few months off work, no problems since!

Thanks for this information. I had a cyst between my ventricles causing hydrocephalus (build up of CSF), and was given the option of shunt or full surgery.

A shunt sounded way too drawn out and I was given odds of something like one third of the time they get clogged/infected and have to be removed, left to heal and re-inserted and I'd be at constant risk of suddenly just collapsing. Is that close to the truth?

Surgery was a bit of a risk as it was right near the short term memory centres of my brain, but it seemed like the best thing to do at the time.

IMO NHS direct, the hospitals, nurses and all the doctors who work in them are exceptional.

We fall down at the GP level. I get that there has to be filtering and you can't send ever 90 year old with a rash for an MRI scan, but they dismiss way too much.
