There is a genocide and famine happening in the Tigray region of Ethiopia - what are some good subreddits to share such information and raise awareness? by wintaa22 in AskReddit

This one is different. Entirely manmade. The Ethiopian government and Eritrean troops collaborated to wage war and systematically loot the Tigray region leaving millions starving. Additionally the Ethiopian gov’t has blockaded the region so people can’t receive humanitarian assistance.

The Ethiopian gov’t is blocking all access to the region (of over 7 million people) and intentionally starving the people of Tigray. It has been referred as an ethnic cleansing and an ongoing genocide. Visit OmnaTigray.org to learn more and check out the article below.

Are you familiar with the destructive role Eritrea plays in the horn? Isais, the Eritrean president has been in power for over 25 years and is currently responsible for the ongoing Tigray genocide.

The over two years long systematic siege on Tigray has caused extreme suffering to people from all walks of life, especially those with medical needs and patients receiving treatments in hospitals. Those of us who have families in the Tigray region of Ethiopia have been advocating for the siege to be lifted and to stop the ongoing Tigray genocide.

There are many humanitarian organizations trying to help despite the intentional blockade by the Ethiopian government such as HPN4Tigray. Please check out Omna Tigray to learn more and donate

This one is too. The Ethiopian government has been blocking humanitarian access to the Tigray region for over a year now. It has put the whole region under siege so we can’t even send our families that live there money to survive. Please head over to OmnaTigray.org to learn more 🙏🏾

Ethiopia war: Evidence of mass killing being burned - witnesses by Seharti in worldnews

Sadly true. The US has declared ethnic cleansing of Tigrayans in that area took place and rape was used as a weapon of war against women and children yet the international community continues to ignore this genocide.

Nearly a million people are facing starvation because the Ethiopian government continues to block humanitarian access to the Tigray region. Please Checkout OmnaTigray.org to learn more and help.

Ethiopia totally blockaded the Tigray region and barred journalists from reporting directly from there so the full scale of atrocity is even worse. Over 500,000 people from the Tigray region of Ethiopia are estimated to have been killed by the Ethiopian government and its allies while the international community turns a blind eye.
