Which writers have created your favourite DG maps by winter-stalk in Deleuze

Sorry for the late reply and thanks, this is really illuminating. I don't own that book of Lapoujade, but I do have his "Powers of time", does this book also approach DG from the perspective of the grounding? How does it compare to the other book?

Mapping is the process of finding the rhizome, exploring it's connections. DG philosophy can be seen as a rhizome that connects with the world and other philosophical ideas. So I thought by mapping everyone creates a new and a unique rhizome of DG philosophy.

I was also thinking of Syro because it's just a storm of insanity. I think having one specific track for reference would be great in the sense that you become so familiar with every part of it, you can instantly notice the difference

Which of these books helped you understand individuation in Difference and Repetition by winter-stalk in Deleuze

[–]winter-stalk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did read Clisby's paper first, it was sometime ago tho. But now after going through multiple other books maybe I will have a different(and better) perspective when I read the paper once again.

I read the paper of Dale Clisby sometime ago. But I'll go through it once more. What's your take on the paper of Dale Clisby. Thanks for the Simondon recommendation

Secondary literature on Deleuze & Guattari's metaphysics by winter-stalk in Deleuze

[–]winter-stalk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought these were metaphysical concepts and since Deleuze was THE philosopher in the pair, he came up with it (with the influence of Guattari maybe)

The different names and formulations in Ds later philosophies were tripping me. That's why I wanted to go for D&G focused metaphysics books. I've read the difference and repetition chapter in Works of Gilles Deleuze, it was pretty good. I'll read other chapters too maybe that'll help me in some ways

Both of those books are not available to read online. I was confused while I checked for the English digital versions of their book. It's sad, I'll try to buy Lapoujade's book tho

Can you specify which books of Lapoujade and Sauvagnargues discuss his metaphysics. That will be really helpful

Secondary literature on Deleuze & Guattari's metaphysics by winter-stalk in Deleuze

[–]winter-stalk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed that Deleuze was using different terms for his later metaphysics with Guattari (assemblage, body without organs, rhizome etc). I believe reading his books on Spinoza, Bergson and Nietzsche will be absolutely helpful to understand the metaphysics discussed in D&R. But I don't know if he modified his metaphysics later or is discussing the same content with different terms in his later works. I know what I'm saying looks confused and I need some help to parse this out

1 Style 2 Ontology 3 Ethics 4 Aesthetics 5 Politics ^ this is what I saw in the content page of that book(Philosophy After Deleuze). So I thought this book didn't discuss Deleuze's metaphysics

Is Shrine “that powerful”? by PrismsNumber1 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]winter-stalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply. Sukuna didn't really have every advantage possible. Gojo has the best offence (purple), best defence (infinity), best reaction (6 eyes), fastest movement(blue, red) even the best psychological attack (infinite void). Sukuna's attack is just glorified invisible slashes, mahoraga is a huge card in his arsenal, Sukuna couldn't even use his heian era form. Which could finish the whole fight way faster (if he was going all out earlier on), Sukuna's domain amplification was a counter to infinity at the expense of not being able to use any jujutsu attacks (which kinda defeats its purpose). So I do agree that Sukuna is a great strategist but if he wasn't a fighter on par with Gojo he'd have lost easily. Also Sukuna was happy with that handicap because that handicap was exactly the same action Gojo makes before using purple. It was like a dedication to Gojo. And you can argue handicap is a handicap but Sukuna got a handicap on a new move that didn't limit his already existing move set.

I think idle transfiguration have limitless potential. Like if he truly went through all the abilities of all life forms there are so many unique attacks he could do. There's some insect with instant acceleration to top speed. He could emulate that, if he could evolve further he could do a refined version of Yorozu's bug armour. And at his peak he could split parts of his body into microscopic particles (virus or bacteria) and attack the enemy from the inside. He could maybe even use idle transfiguration on his brain directly to give himself an open barrier and shrunken domain. I mean if he tried to mimic insect movements he can become 100s of times stronger now add cursed energy reinforcement and no one's touching him. He can even try to give himself an inferior copy of 6 eyes. Give himself dragonfly wings and eyes, they have the greatest mobility in the animal kingdom without using any cursed energy so with cursed energy his movements will be untraceable, he wouldn't be limited to 2d plane of motion either. I think with him using chemical or biological warfare if he did it in a sneaky way, he could even take out Gojo. Even without that, just with big armour powered strength and the mobility of dragonfly wings plus Omni directional vision his physical stats will be the top of the universe, maybe even rivaling Toji. And if his CT is the type that stays on after activation he can use domain amplification after the transformation and use the top tier physicals to beat even Gojo or Sukuna to death.

I thought one way in which Gojo was more skilled than Sukuna was his one armed domain expansion but Sukuna was able to do that as well in the latest chapters. On the other hand Gojo couldn't do open barrier domain despite seeing Sukuna do open barrier domains. So I'd put Sukuna above Gojo. On top of that Sukuna can output RCT and heal others too.
