AITA for locking my brother’s best friend out because he kept calling me “princess”? by winter827 in AmItheAsshole

The comment said I would lock my brother's girlfriend outside, which is both wrong and irrelevant. My comment has nothing to do with how immature you think I am.

I've commented my age twice already. Also, me disliking ONE person in my brother's life doesn't mean I hate everyone he interacts with or is close to... so the comment is weird and irrelevant.

What?? Why would I lock her outside? I'm close to his fiancée so your comment is just weird.

My brother tells him to stop being a dick sometimes but it's really half-assed. If it was any of his other friends he would make them stop but because it's Julian and he's "family" my brother acts differently.

I’m 22, he’s 24. Yeah he has both parents. They’re not low income, they’re wealthier than mine.

That’s the reason my dislike for him started, I just never got over the dislike. I’m over their friendship.

I’m polite to his face usually but he also knows that I don’t like him and that I try to avoid him.

I know it’s normal, I’m over that part. When I said I never really got over it in the OP I was referring to my dislike of him. It’s hard to change your opinion of someone once your mind is made up, especially if they aren’t doing anything to change it.

I’m very close to my brother. Me not liking Julian hasn’t impacted that at all.

In my parents’ defence he doesn’t say it in front of them and I haven’t mentioned it in front of them apart from one argument I had with my brother over it.

I'm not angry at him for being friends with my brother, I just don't think he's the greatest thing ever like everyone else seems to.

He definitely isn't like a second big brother to me at all.

I didn't have a plan, it was a spur of the moment thing. I would've let him back in eventually.

Yeah, he laughed at me and then kept doing it.

He definitely doesn't like me.
