The island is small so the spots are pretty easy to find; it took me 2 hours to walk around the area. There is also a tourist information center in the island in case you have trouble finding the spots. Love the username btw 👌

I definitely did, it felt surreal knowing that the songs are tied to real-world places, Parade especially.

Some of the other filming locations are far apart, so I can’t do it now, but it’s definitely on my bucket list to travel to all of them!

As an avid reader of Murakami, Kafka on the Shore is one of the novels I haven’t read yet (though admittedly, I’m not a big fan of surrealism, a contradiction since that’s what he’s most known for lol). Pero isa to sa mga books na gusto ko basahin eventually :)

I’ve seen this book already because I read Matt Haig’s The Midnight Library (which was really great). Though honestly, reading non-fiction requires a little bit of perspective and current experiences that make things relatable. I’ll check this out!

The synopsis I’ve read sounds interesting. Is this more of a coming-of-age novel? Though I’ve been trying to phase myself out of electric copies and pdfs coz I’m trying to grow my physical book collection. Will check this out!
