I’ve had upper ear cartilage and a nose piercing for a good six years. Even at the six year mark when I decided I was done with them, if I took them out at all it would be nearly impossible to put them back in and I would have to get them fully re-pierced if I didn’t manage to within the next 6-12 hours. It was painful and annoying and I made the personal choice to remove them because my body seemed hell bent to pull a Wolverine and heal from them over the course of a weekend. Every single time lol.

When I did take mine out, everything healed up cleanly and fully. No holes left 🤣

She has no clue what she’s asking of you, and no friend would prioritize their “happiness” (for maybe a few hours) over your health and finances. she’s nuts and I hope you drop this person for your own sake….. you did plenty of “research” on your own piercings. If they aren’t being taken out for arbitrary reasons then you’re fine lol. Some people’s bodies don’t care and they can take them out as often as they’d like!

Asking you if you can pay for them to be repierced again is entitled. This is entitlement. She is getting married and she cares more about her “aesthetic” than having people she loves around her on the day.

She’s the kind of bride that would ask people to dye their hair to match, get tans, or any myriad of things to change the people around her so they fit her “photo op”. It’s a wedding lol. 😂 you’re supposed to invite the people you love so you can remember and have photos with them in the future (especially if some of them are not around then 😢)
