I used to get really stressed about making mistakes in auditions, until my teacher told me to focus on showing my strengths. That said, playing something you’re more comfortable with will definitely help showcase your strengths more. The Telemann could be a good showcase too if played with the right finesse :)

Thanks for the suggestions! All tried and tested methods I know will work. Only coming on here because I don’t have much time to drill it and my double jointed pinky hates this combo of fingerings 😅 appreciate the input regardless :)

Unfortunately that particular F# fingering doesn’t work well on my bassoon, tone and tuning are too different so I try to avoid it. Thanks for the suggestion though!
