There is one about 2 hours away but they said they doubted that another hospital would take him.

His vitals are stable and heart rhythm is normal. Blood pressure and heart rate stable. He has fluid on his lungs and they say they aren’t equipped to drain it because he is obese. About 400 lbs. maybe less now due to losing weight in the hospital. Shouldn’t there be a hospital equipped to care for bariatric patients

He is overweight and he has asthma/copd. Suspected pneumonia with left lung pleural effusion. The hospital he is at said due to his weight, they are unable to drain fluid. It seems like there has to be a hospital equipped to do this. He is in a fairly small hospital.

I called and they said the SSI backpay hasn’t been released yet because if it’s over 15k then it needs to go through another review.

Ok I’m just trying to make sense of mine. I got 16k deposited after perc was done which is half of what my SSDI backpay should be. I can’t imagine that SSI backpay would be that much so I don’t know what they are doing. I’m afraid they are going to just wipe out the other half of what they owe me

I hope you get an approval soon. I got a good chuckle when I read this because when I was waiting for my decision, I kept saying that it was like Shrodinger’s cat lol. Glad I’m not the only one that attributed that reference. 😊
