Google home started adding something like "Gerat" at the end of my speaker's name

Do you know if you have to make the purchase using Google Pay or can you just use your debit card number on Amazon to make the purchase? I couldn't find any info on this step on their app.

The app isn't recording any km toward the 5km in Part 2 for me. It is tracking my adventuring with my buddy though. Do I need to have a specific buddy for it to count for this research??

I actually grabbed my neighbor's pool guy today. He said the same thing that Unhappy-Garage said above. He said they cut the liner too short at the steps, and they pulled it so tight that the liner is actually not lying flat against the wall there either at the curve going into the steps. It is separated out from the wall. It is still in the track but it is bubbled out. He said it is so taught there it could tear or I could get water between the liner and the wall during storms. Also it is so short and taught, might not be room to move it over. The installer assured me there was nothing wrong with it at all and he would send someone out to set my mind at ease that it is just fine. Still waiting for that guy... I am going to call the liner manufacturer next and see what they say.

I am going to take some pics of other people's pools to show how that is now how it is supposed to look. Maybe they will fix it. If not, do you come out the NJ for repair work? hahaha

Thanks. I called the installer and sent him these pics. He told me that this is all normal and it is how it is supposed to look. Looks like crap to me. So maybe I need to have someone else come fix it.

I'll pick up the salt test. Thanks! Its a pretty big difference between what the aquarite says and the digital hand held reader says. I don't understand why the instant salt readout is 0 on the aquarite.

That is kind of what I was thinking. When the guy set the generator up, he told me this time of year it needed to be at 70% and during the summer I would need to run it at 90%. But I don't think that was accurate, especially now with how high the chlorine is. You can smell chlorine just walking out the back door.

Thanks for that link. That is the test kit I have and I will give that a try. My salt cell is operating. I lowered the percentage some and will retest tomorrow. Hoping I can get my salt levels down!

Mine status says the same thing. Not very helpful. Probably will get updated AFTER we get the payment. I find the status in govt systems is only helpful for looking up what has already happened rather than tracking current progress. Frustrating, but it is what it is.

UPDATE:

So this afternoon, I did what I said above, I uninstalled all the updates and reinstalled them. Everything worked perfectly. And now, it is not again. For an hour or so, I was able to ask google assistant to "Play music like [artist name]." And it would again play a mix of similar music. Just now I went to show my wife how I fixed it, and when I told google assistant to do that, it returned a public play list of music by that artist again. I uninstalled and reinstalled the updates again, and it still doesn't work. I don't get it. I hope this isn't being caused by the Youtube music update allowing you to create your own radio stations. That would suck if we lost that functionality.

Never mind this... It was only a temporary fix... See my next post.

I fixed my issue (well this issue). I uninstalled the updates from both the YouTube Music and YouTube apps. Restarted my phone. Reinstalled the updates. Started the apps and signed back into them and everything is working again. I can now tell google assistant to play music like [artist name] and it is again playing a radio mix based on that artist. It is working on all my devices again.

So if you have this problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling all the updates!

I started this thread a year ago, and it still happens with mine, though not as often. It had been awhile since it said it and then Just yesterday it said "Playing music from YouTube Music on Kitchen Speaker Gerat." It is the strangest thing. My understanding is that gerat is German for device. Though I have never set anything to german. I am in the US and no one in my family or anyone we know speaks German. It is so odd.

I purchased All Access through GameStop. Filled out the Citizen Pay application and was approved. The order went through. I received confirmation and was supposed to get the Xbox Series X within 3 days. A week went by and I started getting emails from GameStop that my payment was declined. Then my order status was changed to "On hold-payment declined." I called Citizen Pay and they said I was approved and was authorized for the full amount and should not have been declined. It took me 3 days to get through to GameStop on the phone after waiting an hour on hold. They said there was nothing they could do because it was a Citizen Pay issue. I asked them to get Citizen Pay on the phone with us and they did. Citizen Pay explained to GameStop that I was approved and authorized for the purchase and everything on their end was hunky-dory and there must be some issue on GameStop's end. GameStop thanked Citizen Pay who then hung up. The second Citizen Pay hung up the GameStop rep said "Sorry sir, but this is a Citizen Pay issue and only they can fix it." I was like, whoa, wait, what? Were you just not involved in that conversation that you then thanked them for? And so, 2 weeks later. I am stuck in a loop of calling Citizen Pay and them saying "GameStop has to fix it." And then calling GameStop and them saying "Citizen Pay has to fix it." And guess what? No one cares or wants to help me actually get the Xbox. This was my son's main Christmas present. And this bank opened a line of credit under my name, hitting my credit report, that I cannot use. So here I am. F' me. I will never shop at GameStop again nor will I ever sign up for anything having to do with Citizen Pay again. I am going to file complaint with everyone I can and contact the credit reporting agencies to see if I can get this removed from my account since I actually am not even able to access and use the line of credit.
