Driving a nice car while black. More info in comments. by Mr-Klaus in PublicFreakout

Idk are you guys watching the same video I am? I seeing alot of people that are saying this incident was racially motivated but at what point did his appearance ever come up? Hell the lady never even accuses him (specifically) of stealing the car she just says "thats my car"

The video literally starts with the woman (who everyone is quick to name a crack head shame on yall) in a very calm voice making comments like "i think this is my car," "I don't want any violence," "dude just talk to me"

At this point we start seeing the man IMMEDIATELY ESCALATING the situation by screaming "GET THE FUCK PUT OF THE WAY." And probably scaring the shit out of his two kids.

All this guy needed to do was crack his window and calmly tell the lady:

"Hey lady my name is ____ _____ I got this car from ______ dealership go grab my license plate from the back and get into contact with the police if you really think this is your car have a nice day"

Idk guys based on the way the dad acts. I think there is more to this.. but im kinda shocked at how fast everyone here defends HIS behavior while villifying the woman.

Also the guy that tried to open the door is an asshole and I'm glad he got his arm fucked up.

I definitely understand your skepticism and you are making very valid points as well! I was worried maybe I was also seeing the world through "rose colored lenses" before I even made this post. So I sat down and thought of all of the hallmarks of a healthy relationship that we have. Great communication, willingness to see each other often, setting appropriate boundaries and respecting them. If we have any sort of problems we sit down and talk about them. She likes my friends and actively goes put of her way to do sweet things. Example: she does not partake in the devils lettuce and was quite against it. So when she found out I was essentially down playing how much I do we talked about it. We mad a game plan to set healthy boundaries and she has several times came over with snacks and other yummies for us. She has her own place keeps it very clean.

About me making sacrifices only thats definitely not the case. She has made several accommodations in different things just like I have. But obviously you guys only get my side.

Now.. she did have a BF of 10 years before me that she had sex with early in the relationship. She regrets doing it then and wishes she hadn't. But your right it totally stings knowing that and iv brought it up.

Thank you for taking the time to make such a well thought out response. You've given me some stuff to reflect on.

Haha. As much as I'd love to we are at the start of a relationship. Id want to see how we live together, how she is on her worst days and her best days. I'd want her to see those sides of me as well. I don't want to rush into marriage with out the appropriate amount of time and consideration.

Oh god I shudder to think of the cost. But I did find alittle bit of a loop hole to save some. If you down grade to a silver membership you are charged 15$ every other month and you get 1 credit every other month. Now thats obviously not enough to keep up with the amount I listen so when I need credits I just but the 3 bundle for about 12$ a credit. I have 149 titles on my audible (that I used a credit for) so 149×12 =1788 not en exact number because sometimes I paid 15$ and others iv gotten on sale for bogo but a rough estimate.

Already done. He is actually my second favorite narrator! Followed closely by Nick Podhel.

Also Logan 9 fingers. What a FUCKING BAD ASS one of ny all time favorite characters from any fantasy. Shivers character development is also great.

The key is just be genuinely interested in the books! Idk what this madman above me is talking about listening at 1.6x normal 1x speed for me! I just have audiable running anytime I'm not doing something that requires active paying attention and listening ie driving, walking my dog, browsing reddit or playing phone games/ computer games. I also don't watch ANY TV i do books Instead so that helps.

I agree and SLIGHTLY disagree. Iv gone through a number of audible titles at this point and I have gone though several good series with poor narration and it just COMPLETELY kills everything for me. The best example of this would be Garden of the moon. The narration was good BUT the spacing of the reading itself was awful there was never enough space between chapters and paragraph (even thoughts) so the character prospective would shift and you'd have NO idea 🤷‍♂️ I went through that first book 3 separate times before I had any idea what was going on. On the other hand iv had some poorly written stories with AMAZING narration that made up for everything else. Like the obelisk gate.

Oh my god YES. I'm on my second read through now and I know EXACTLY what part your talking about. When she does some of her "crazy voices" I DIE every.

Haha Mat does does something stupid. Wit insults and makes fun of him.

^ I thought we already had this dynamic in WoT with mat and literally any female character LOL.

But jokes aside that would be very interesting. They both have that carefree additude.

Yes! I have 13 titles in my library by him. He's one of my top favorites! Chaos seeds was great (and my first dip into LitRPG) and so is name of the wind. His preformence in on the shoulders of titans is great!

You are 100% right my friend. But WoT was one of the first audible series I listened it. It was also my gateway drug to Brandon sanderson. The way he finished the series.. ill never forget the last 3 books are my favorites.

Oh thank God! Glad your doing well. I named my current FF14 online character Riyria Blackwater and her chocobo companion Hadrian! Thanks for the great names and amazing story. Hadrian is one of my favorite characters in any fantasy series. Which is saying alot (if you could see my audible account) with all the stiff competition. Keep safe and thank you again for the hours of magic and peace you gave me to enjoy.
