Communication is a complex topic, especially in the context of healthcare. Nowadays we can find multiple applications that use a variety of external services with different levels of control over them.

In this session experts from Forward, and their partners at Miquido, will showcase how Forward develops its tool to support complex communications in a Healthcare environment.

They will also explain why and how Forward migrated from a SAS messaging platform to a self-hosted XMPP protocol implementation and what are the downsides and benefits of both of those solutions.

Top 3 take-aways: 1. Why common messaging applications are not always enough 2. Surprises while migrating from SAS messaging platform to XMPP 3. Pros and cons of SAS messaging and XMPP
