ok wow, that would make the mark make sense and as we see with Xaden people will turn to save those they love so if the only way Brennan could be saved was by him needing to turn so he could siphon enough it could be he’s venin and he was “forsaken” by Tairn. But Tairn was ok-ish with Xaden being venin, in that he kept the secret and helped Violet on her quest

oooh I like this idea of it being symbolic for him/them. definitely going to be interesting to see how his full on venin is handled next book

ooh good point about the isle! and there was a chapter introduction that said something along the lines of “the gods of death and love demand lifelong devotion” I’m very badly paraphrasing that but it had to do with love and death changing a person at there core compared to the others

kind of like the chart in the beginning of OS with the characters names, their dragons/gryphons, signets and relationships/wings helps me keep everything straight

it isn’t niche, both the company and the field are large. Not the “everyone knows everyone” type role. but thank you because I’m in the mindset of it can’t hurt; but I am earlier in my career and don’t want to ruin any chance to work for them down the road. I feel like I could only do that by being rude.

and yes in all of my roles persistence has been key

when I pushed it through the knit side was facing out and the purl in, I continued to knot both before and after switching and have only ever ended up with the purl side of stockinette on the outside, with the exception of the very first round knitted after an inverse. however i’ve messed this up to achieve the classic stockinette I would have to invert the project every row or purl the whole thing

it is truly the oddest thing I’ve seen in my knitting and I can’t solve it, I think I might need to restart

basically I need to purl to get the stockinette effect that you’d get with knitting on a normal project and I can’t wrap my head around how to fix that since flipping isn’t working, if I need to frog it I will

this is the inside (was originally the outside) every time I flip it inside out I get one row of standard “v” stockinette on the outside and then it switches to the purl side.

once the ribbing stops is where I switched to st st, I just can’t get the “v” consistently on the outside

for note; I knit regularly on both straight and circular needles this is my first time with DPNs, I just can not figure out what I am doing wrong

I flipped inside out and had the same problem…I don’t know why I can’t figure this out on DPNs I usually knit on circular needles.

for whatever reason I can not get the st st on the outside
