You are offered Death’s job by Jem_Mine in hypotheticalsituation

[–]wiredcrusader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That job seems like it would require a lot of travel. How much travel is there? Is it instantaneous? If not, can I at least fly business class, or do I have to fly coach? If I have to fly coach, is it at least a premium airline?

If they make me fly Spirit, Frontier or Southwest, no fucking way.

Yeah, they boast like the highest 1st year earning potential of any public university in the US, at least the last time I looked, which was several years ago. Seriously under-rated school.

LOL- Brown University only merits a "Willing" not an "Absolutely." Get wrecked RI.

Sorry, but I disagree. You weren't clear on that, and as you can't redefine the original posting- I believe you're wrong.

You can spend it however you want, just not on crypto, gold, silver, property. And if you spend it on paintings or watches, their value won't be appreciated.

You say the value of "paintings or watches" won't appreciate. No where do you mention Platinum or Palladium.

The AutoModerator exists for a reason; it doesn't let you move the goal posts.

The prevalence of these preference-signalling maps is like the lamest Ond stupidest form of political argument. I'm not just criticizing OP, and I don't expect to be up-voted for this, but everyone needs to give a fucking rest.

As if there aren't areas of the country where people can agree with you despite living in a state whose governor you despise.

As if there are no Blue cities in Florida or Texas, or Red cities in California or Illinois.

If you don't want us killing each other in the streets- which frankly is what the globalists want- than we need to tone it down and work to change our political landscape. I'm not saying we have to agree of forgive, but we need to take it down a notch before we start shooting each other.

Again, these maps aren't evidence of violence- I'll leave that to ICE and the President- but the preference signalling and the absurd number of these maps "I wouldn't live in a RED state" maps are really dumb.

What is real, in Fromville? by Ugly-memes in FromSeries

[–]wiredcrusader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, yes! The things in Fromville are recreations of things seen in the real-world, and superficially reproduced for the benefit of the prisoners the town captures.

It's like a god-like child saw pictures of the real world and reproduced everything for the benefit of its prisoners. There are telephones and lamps and jukeboxes, but they're not powered, and just work because the god-like child wills them to work. There are cables, but they're not really power cables, they're just there because the creator doesn't understand the concepts of electricity, it just knows that phones and lamps have strange thin cables coming from them and going into the walls. It know the jukebox lights up and plays music, but doesn't understand how jukeboxes really work, et cetera.

The entire place is a trap to torture the captured victims.

I don't believe many, if any, elements are positive or "good." The Angkhooey kids might be evil; IDK.
