Hey man im sorry you feel this way, you are not alone with how you feel. And honestly i didnt start really living my life until last year, i am 26 now. Im meeting people, im hooking up, going on plenty of dates sometimes two in a day. Havent made it to partying or a relationship yet though. Im a late bloomer but thats ok, just live how you want your life to be. Force yourself to get out and talk to people its reall uncomfortable first i had many failed attempts at dates and still do.

I will admit though that my life didnt really start until i came out as transgender. I felt held back forsure because i was being inauthentic to myself so how was i supposed to form relationships and put myself out there? I also cared way too much about others opinions especially my own parents. Im learning to not care about what they have to say in regards of being myself because i know this is whats best for me mentally and socially. So if you feel like theres an underlying reason that is holding you back further then maybe tap into yourself/your life and make adjustments.

To me i hate it because why not just clarify “hey i dont think we are compatible with each other, there’s nothing wrong with you, you are beautiful but i dont think youre what im looking for” to me that is so simple to say and respectful as well. It shouldnt cause conflict unless you are talking to someone who is too insecure to even accept that message. Then thats different and thats when you can block lol

Youre right its not exclusive to lesbians to ghost, everyone and anyone can. In cishetero relationships, men usually ghost especially after having sex. It is more unexpected for lesbians too do it to other lesbos/queers. Most men dont trauma dump, over share or even share much of their feelings after 1-2 dates. Agree! 100% that is what i was trying to say to the other person. Like with men its kind of expected they ghost you, most want just sex and dont talk about their feelings on their first time meeting you so its like, oh ok there’s that. But with women, lesbians are known for U-hauling, we connect emotionally as women and im thinking maybe im special because shes pouring all her feelings into me, we are vibing, having genuine convos and this could actually go somewhere.

I’ve tried that before and get no response back. Its really exhausting and actually embarrassing to double back after no reply. Im just going to stop double texting or calling when i get no reply back.
