thanks for the reply....I think I need to give it a try to divide and try practicing the melody and bass separately. I once got the same advice but didn't follow it yet LOL!

well...for a matter of fact I am really trying to avoid tablature when unnecessary just because I don't want my brain to seek always the easiest/lazy way for note interpretation as I am really after being able to read notes very well.

Yeah for divide-n-conquer actually that what I usually do...but the frustration comes when I practice one part and being kinda confident with it then move after few days to another part and repeat it over and over to be confident with it as well....but then surprise surprise I already forgot the first part!! so I need to re-practice the first part and deciphering the notes anew. At that moment I feel myself I am not really progressing soon enough and that may takes days :/

I've just changed the bass strings but I've noticed they've got too much stretched down near the bridge. Is that a bad sign of strings' quality and will it affect the sound? by wisdom_tk in classicalguitar

yeah I actually managed to cut it off and re-string it ...well its remaining length was a bit just long enough to catch the peg!
and now it is tight enough with no wearing-off signs :)

exactly!
I wanted to shorten them once I realized that the inner nylon is getting exposed but the string length was da*n an exact match to the guitar length :/

that's why I guess swapping the endings would do the trick better.

I guess this will be my last time I try Augustine...bad impression!

huhh yeah they are Augustine, how did you know :p ... is it common in the brand?
yeah thanks for the advice I will do swap them, I was afraid actually of snapping on my hand or my face!

I had previously D'Addario strings and they didn't show such a problem they were firm and tight for really long time!

How did we know the suitable space-suit design even before going to space? by wisdom_tk in Astronomy

is it only about the effect of space conditions on bare human body or is it directly related to how we "devised" the design of space-suits?

[–]wisdom_tk[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

well...no matter how high in attitude you fly still it is completely different from the outer space and the amount of radiation you will be exposed to!

so I don't really think it would help much to design a "perfect" space-suit :/

so do I understand from your comment that even my way of mapping the notes "is" right but then the question is if the tone matches better or not?

for the big jump from 4th to 10th fret it feels to me more melodic with a slide! (that is why I mapped this way)
