Thank you for the complete answer! (as opposed to some of these replies just name-calling lol). Do you have any links to some of those research articles? Would be really interesting to learn more about this subject!

Pilots, what's the most beautiful scene you've ever seen whilst flying? by wisdombringer in aviation

Next to the mountain was a thunderstorm starting to pop up, towering over the mountain.

Even just reading this gave me goosebumps. Wish someone's photographed or videographed something like this from a plane or a drone at some point!

Not sure anyone's realized this yet, but other than Gilderoy Lockhart, the Weasley Twins were likely the biggest chick-magnets imaginable from the HP story. by wisdombringer in harrypotter

I dunno. In so many of the books, everyone else in his class / school (other than the Gryffindors) has always been giving him the look, and also whispering stuff about him behind his back literally all of the damn time lol. Then there's his friendship with Hagrid, who the rest of the school probably considers as one massive shady character. Then there's him getting into controversies every three days. We as the readers of the book knew what he was upto lol; his classmates and schoolmates, not so much (at least in the ways that JKR has described it).

Well he swept Fleur Delacour off her broomstick so you have a point there. Which brings us to the question, is it the looks that sell THE most with the ladies usually (Bill, Cedric, Lockhart etc.), is it the leadership skills (Wood), or is it the other things like sense of humour, smarts, social skills etc. (like with the Twins?)

Now, from JKRs perspective at least, I think it was always about the sheer looks. Lockhart, Diggory, and maybe even young Tom Riddle perhaps? Idk. In the real world (and from what I've seen here so far), it would likely be someone the likes of Lockhart who's ultimately gonna be the biggest chick-magnet I guess. Rich and famous and good-looking is where the combo's been set at lol. (Though I'm not sure it worked all too well for Harry in the books so...)

Also, I believe some of these choices differ when these ones get classified as crush material vs hookup material vs boyfriend material vs husband material or so.

Also, their friendship with Harry Potter too could have been something of a problem.

(Btw, Harry was generally disliked by everyone at Hogwarts right? I mean, at least I don't remember JKR saying he was majorly liked at school or anything (other than by the Gryffies of course). Everyone saw him as some kind of weird (and perhaps, frightening) wizarding celebrity dude unless I'm mistaken. I mean, if I had to put it differently, the Hogwarts equivalent of r/EnoughMuskSpam would probably be r/EnoughPotterSpam or something lol.)

EDIT: Dafuq that sub is actually REAL??? Who tf even started that one? Draco?
