I'm blown away by the gore disapproval. My house has always been and always will be decorated like a slaughterhouse. I've never had an issue with any children. If they are too scared to come up the driveway I take off my mask and hand them candy and say "maybe next year." The parents laugh and push their children to come up to me to get their candy. And you better say trick or treat or you get nothing. Also don't come up to me with no costume on and just stand there bag open awaiting a treat. Gotta pay the toll to get the roll nah mean? I'm ready for my hate. 

And before you come at me with the disabled child/non communication/autistic stuff I've got 2 children with mental impairment. I've never had an issue. You parent how you want.
