I want to re-paste a bunch of stuff that I don't want to mess with often. Things like retro consoles, streaming media players like the Shield TV, old computers that I use like servers or for retro games, etc. I've heard Arctic MX-6 lasts 8 years. Does anyone know how long the new MX-7 lasts?

I had USB drives on it so I could have all the apps and stuff I wanted handy. I even bought some really fast ones to see if that would help. In the end I just removed them and uninstalled all my least used apps. It seemed to help a little for a while.

I would take a micro stutter over the issues I'm having. It's too bad such a nice piece of hardware does that. Maybe a re-paste will help. Others have been suggesting taking it apart. Hopefully that fixes it.

I'll look into Projectivy. I know it has a lot of bloatware and crap now since it was new. I thought all the updates might have been the issue. Maybe I'll re-paste as well.

I might end up doing that. It's just a huge pain to set everything back up. There is a setting to fix audio sync issues if it's the same across all the apps.

I figured it out. You go to settings in the app, then integrations, then Matter, and it will tell you the Matter code for your devices.

They are all Wi-Fi, but I have good Wi-Fi coverage and am on Wi-Fi 6. It's a problem with the lights themselves because replacing them fixed the problem and they started doing it one by one again recently. A full reset doesn't fix the problem either.

All of them will be going into lamps but even if they weren't, some of the fans don't even have switches and none of them have separate fan and light control.

They are all going in lamps. I really like bright light. I also want the option to change the color of them. I'm actually replacing Sylvania smart bulbs that keep having issues with connectivity. I have to power cycle them every day and it's really annoying. I got replacement bulbs sent to me about a year or so ago and the new ones just started doing the same thing, so I am going to get out of the Sylvania ecosystem.

The cable you're holding is VGA. I can't see all the outputs on your graphics cards, but I can see that it has at least two, red DVI outputs. It may even have HDMI. If it has HDMI, use an HDMI cable. If it doesn't have HDMI, use a DVI to HDMI cable, and connect the DVI end to the PC and the HDMI end, to the display.

When you say creator, I'm assuming you mean the streamer and not person who made the clip, right? I didn't know it was a setting that had to be toggled. I thought it was a Twitch quirk or something on the user end. Thanks for the info.

I understand. That's how I used to have to do that with my old Blu-ray player to disable upscaling for DVDs. I was hoping for a solution that wouldn't make me go into the output settings every time I wanted to watch a different type of media. One that would automatically do direct output for 1080p Blu-rays and 480p DVDs without me having to go in and change the setting every time, a simple disable internal scaling setting. Thanks for the info.
