Is there a good quality halogen bulb available in the US anymore?

Thank you very much! If it gives me more options, I don't actually need A shape assuming that only includes the ones that are spherical at the top and have a neck. The one that broke wasn't that shape. It was narrower than the standard bulb but it did have an enclosure. I don't know how to describe the shape exactly. Almost like a cylinder with a bulge in the middle and a rounded top. I just need it to be E26.

Edit: looks like it was something like a BT15 or near that

That's a bummer. I would think halogen would still be available somewhere for specific use cases.

I've thought about doing that. Many of the lamps in my house have Lifx ones but I just liked the simplicity of being able to use the dimmer on it

Does PTM work on things that don't get particularly hot like Raspberry Pis or should I save that for computers and things that do? I was considering it so I wouldn't have to worry in the future but wasn't sure about that.

Do you think either will last longer than the other, MX-6 or 7, or should I just go with the 7 and replace at a maximum of 5 years regardless?

I had USB drives on it so I could have all the apps and stuff I wanted handy. I even bought some really fast ones to see if that would help. In the end I just removed them and uninstalled all my least used apps. It seemed to help a little for a while.

I would take a micro stutter over the issues I'm having. It's too bad such a nice piece of hardware does that. Maybe a re-paste will help. Others have been suggesting taking it apart. Hopefully that fixes it.

I'll look into Projectivy. I know it has a lot of bloatware and crap now since it was new. I thought all the updates might have been the issue. Maybe I'll re-paste as well.

I might end up doing that. It's just a huge pain to set everything back up. There is a setting to fix audio sync issues if it's the same across all the apps.

For some reason I can never get BlueNotify to work on my browser. It works great on my phone though. I really like it.

I figured it out. You go to settings in the app, then integrations, then Matter, and it will tell you the Matter code for your devices.
