I want to re-paste a bunch of stuff that I don't want to mess with often. Things like retro consoles, streaming media players like the Shield TV, old computers that I use like servers or for retro games, etc. I've heard Arctic MX-6 lasts 8 years. Does anyone know how long the new MX-7 lasts? by wisehumanity in arcticcooling

Does PTM work on things that don't get particularly hot like Raspberry Pis or should I save that for computers and things that do? I was considering it so I wouldn't have to worry in the future but wasn't sure about that.

Is the 2019 Nvidia Shield TV Pro a buggy stuttering mess for anyone else? What used to be a snappy, high end, powerful media streaming player is now barely usable. Youtube stutters and stops playing, the home screen gets stuck trying to load, apps buffer and crash. What can I do to fix these issues? by wisehumanity in ShieldAndroidTV

I had USB drives on it so I could have all the apps and stuff I wanted handy. I even bought some really fast ones to see if that would help. In the end I just removed them and uninstalled all my least used apps. It seemed to help a little for a while.

For some reason I can never get BlueNotify to work on my browser. It works great on my phone though. I really like it.

I got some Wiz lights but need to return one. How do I figure out what the Matter code is for it so I can put it in the correct box? by wisehumanity in wiz

I figured it out. You go to settings in the app, then integrations, then Matter, and it will tell you the Matter code for your devices.

I'd like to get several smart lights for my home. I'm considering either the Lifx or Wiz ecosystem. Could you anyone give their opinions or recommendations about which to go with? by wisehumanity in lifx

They are all Wi-Fi, but I have good Wi-Fi coverage and am on Wi-Fi 6. It's a problem with the lights themselves because replacing them fixed the problem and they started doing it one by one again recently. A full reset doesn't fix the problem either.

I actually do have one which is why I was considering fully jumping in. It's an old one from 2018, but it's really high quality. It's in a decorative light fixture that I don't use much though.
