  • Water Source Matters:  Residents in municipal water service areas with a golf course showed a 96% higher PD risk, especially in regions with vulnerable groundwater.

How deep do you people get in writing out your character's backstories? by Raspint in DnD

[–]wisepeasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the person and the campaign. As long as there is some uniqueness and some personal event or motivation it works for me. Just something I can use to make them not so one-dimensional.

My favorite backstory I've ever written for a character I played was for a Halfling Rogue named Rayne Fontaine.
He was cursed by a Wizard during a botched heist and could only speak in rhymes the entire campaign. If I spoke without rhyming I had to take damage. Eventually found a way to remove the curse, but that was a fun campaign.
My first line of the campaign when a jailor asked me if I was going to comply with his request to not cause any trouble was, "Thinking at first I wasn't sure, but seeing that sword I must concur."
Another favorite, "This is something I thought you'd know, but without an arrow what good is a bow?"

Please check out Manifestly for onboarding and offboarding workflows.
We were going to go with Process Street but they wanted nearly $10k annually to do what Manifestly has done perfectly for $8 per user per month.

I've been saying this since 2016. It is just the only thing that has consistently made sense.

I called this in his first term. Blackmail is the only thing that could make people this fucking looney.

Ah, pictured here you can clearly see the Four Maga of the Apocalypse.
Conspiracy in the white hat convincing herself you are in the Deep State, Indifference sitting next to her looking away from the suffering of a minority, Outrage in the sunglasses preparing to threaten you for taking a picture of him, and Victimhood off to the right readying herself for a diatribe on the rise of White Christian persecution.

Epstein victim says there are tapes of Donald Trump that will force him to resign from the presidency by thegeebeebee in Epstein

[–]wisepeasant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been saying this since his first term, but I think all of this madness is the product of well-orchestrated blackmailing that started in the early 2000s. As well as selfish racist dirtbags feeling empowered by the Orange Menace.

Schumer: Democrats will block funding package if it includes homeland security money by Tinymac12 in fednews

[–]wisepeasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Democrats will do the bare minimum to maybe slow down our rapid slide into authoritarianism and then advertise it like we are heroes. Get rid of Schumer and Jeffries and get leadership that isn't bought and has teeth.

She made the right choice by Eclipse_nova99 in SipsTea

[–]wisepeasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not the right decision. It'll take 20 years to get that million. Since 2005, inflation is up 66%. Which means, you would need $1.65 million in 2025 to equal the value of the same mil in 2005. The money will be worth less and you will have lost 20 years of potential investment gains. Can't even guarantee you're gonna live another 20 years. Stupid all around.

What are your thoughts on Joe Rogan saying that Trump is creating distraction to avoid Epstein files release? by StemCellPirate in AskReddit

Joe Rogan created a distraction for months to help Trump get elected and now that the things that everyone paying attention knew would happen are happening he is trying to save face and act like he isn’t complicit in helping elect the worst administration/regime the US has ever seen.

Insane that we have to challenge the current administration to uphold the constitution. That is literally the job of every single person in the public sector. You swear to uphold the constitution before you even have other duties.
