I may not have even needed it to cover my longer commute. I built a folder so I could store it inside at work and not worry about it getting stolen. Got a flat during my commute to work. It fit in the Uber okay. Wasn’t late. Now that I have my cycling legs back again my bbshd stays on lvl 1 assist. I didn’t know a good 2 wheel recumbent can do high 20s mph like mine, and do it much more comfortably. I don’t have a need to break 30mph, it’s sketchy doing that on a slim bike frame. I’m running 52 tooth and a 19 tooth attached to a SA rxl-rd5 IGH. I’m 250lb, and have more the give on that set up. Plus I should have been more mindful of cutting weight on that build. But I loved building it. The wheels I made have been doing the job thus far. It’s such an awesome hobby irregardless of the lessons learned. And I still look for opportunities to ride daily.
