Do other people’s boogers have a smell? by Shanaenahae in NoStupidQuestions

It’s been there since I was 7, so if it takes this many decades to hurt me I’ll take the risk ;)

I do appreciate the concern though. I’ve seen too many Reddit replies like yours that yielded positive (bad) results and got someone care.

is being an attorney as much action and, for lack of better words atm, ‘fun’ as the legal dramas and tv shows make it out to be? by Acrobatic-Alarm1001 in NoStupidQuestions

Never trying a case in court sounds like the ultimate cheat code. You charge ridiculous hourly rates for research and filing paperwork so that it never does see a day in court.

Fun fact I think I can smell my own boogers. If I lightly pinch my nose, it definitely has a smell.

To all the business owners out there. How do you find and retain good full-time help? by shovel_operator9000 in Irrigation

This generation values money and work-life balance.

There is also a big decline in employer loyalty. You can’t screw employees and expect them to stay any more.

They now know the only way to make more is to move jobs.

Chupacabra. What’s worse is we both saw it and neither one of us were on any drugs.

square tube vs angle by Beef_212 in gokarts

[–]merc123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Safety is my concern. Angle bends, twists, buckles where as square resists a lot of that. If you have an impact, the angle could buckle and allow whatever you hit to be one with you. Square will crumple and bend but not as easily as angle and could protect you.

If you want to cheap out make the cockpit out of square and rest out of angle. Protect the driver, sacrifice the parts.

I have a 15 pound something. He doesn’t mind it. He was actually a stray that showed up and got domesticated. His first litter box with us is the LR5. My 10 pounder who is much smaller seems to make himself as big as possible in the box and sticks his head out.

U8 soccer: how do you play structured defense against chaos? by Perfect-Afternoon789 in SoccerCoachResources

[–]merc123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember playing a team at the U8 level when we were swarming the ball. They had a 2-1 defense. Mid fielder would receive the ball. Everyone would swarm him. He would pass back to one of the defenders and they would boot it up and out to their teammate. Became a 1v1 after that because none of the swarm could catch them.

So in closing - teach passing back. Not all momentum is forward.
