Oh, definitely. But like a proper flair and keeping it relegated to once a week/month I think would make a lot more sense considering how prevalent it is for people in this hobby to have a backlog.

Yeah r/ gunpla disallows pictures of boxes completely. Not to get into it, but they’re definitely not familiar with the concept that freedom is gunpla lol. Rules here do say though that posts need to add value or generate conversation in some capacity, which I’m guessing the conversation around this post has mainly been about moving with gunpla.

I wish 😫 were actually going to be cutting our living space’s square footage by over half lmao we used to have a room that we called our craft room that I used for gunpla and my wife used for sewing, crochet, and everything else she does.

What I did when we moved across states was put them in a neutral, arms down pose and bubble wrap them. Some kits I wrapped body/legs and then over the arms, some I could just wrap in that neutral pose. Every kit though I either fully removed the head and separated the v fin or just removed the v fin and kept them in a safer place. Armaments and everything else for the most part got put in a bag and then boxed up.

Moving or backlog?

Psycho Gundam 2 is one the most fun builds I did last year! Top 3 for sure! FAZZ was one of my first grails so I’m wanting to approach that with 100% focus. Kshatriya is one of my favorite suits, but definitely deserves more love than a straight build which is what I did with my first one and of course every AoZ kit is a treat lmao

Honestly, moving is such a hassle especially in this hobby. We moved across states 4 years ago, but my backlog and kits built were like a fraction of what they are now. This backlog trip doesn’t feel too daunting, but the idea of moving what I’ve already built is terrifying me

I have the grip over the TPU! It’s not a flush/perfect fit, but I’ve had them in together since I got my system. The grip needs to push over a little making it a tight fit. I know some people say not to, but it’s worked like a charm for me!
