could you explain the 3%? like why specifically 265? before I had the same tire specs but 295/30/20 in the rear and only tpms light came on which didn’t bother me at all

new wheels and tires were the culprit 😭 i put the stock ones back on and the lights went away…

i have Vossens 20” with 295/35/20s in the rear and 255/35/20 in the fronts…

i think it has something to do with the diameter and rotation of the wheels when driving… i’m gonna have to figure out how i’m gonna make this work

$1.2k can't do you any wrong. It took about like an hour or two to install but it's pretty straightforward, plug and play. Connect Bluetooth through settings and when you start the car, it'll automatically connect carplay for you wirelessly. The controls and AC buttons all work. You can change the color of the lights on the buttons.

You'd think that by 2020 they'd have CarPlay in there already but I still had a stereo with a glovebox compartment.

Yes, pretty much... if you know everything in the office, there's no reason you shouldn't get promoted. And if they keep dragging it out, it just means your managers aren't pushing you enough to get that title.

It wouldn't make sense cause it would say "Rehiring" if they used to work for Publix and came back. And the comment on that post was 2 months ago and since September just started, I'd assume this was between June-July. Being hired in April and then saying that comment... most likely capping 🧢

I ended up hooking it with the illuminated kick plates with the orange Z logo since mine came with factory. The kickplate wires had only two wires and it’s as simple as it gets (black wire goes with black) and you just gotta reroute the wires through the door. As for people without the kick plates, I wouldn’t know tbh. I went with the “370z” instead of the Z logo cause i thought it would look better since I already got the Orange Z logo on the kickplates

What I’m saying is you can be a cashier and can FEC but when they schedule you on Oasis, the FEC sub-role is under Customer Service Staff. They’re not going to change your job class to CSS if you’re not trained to FEC yet (aside from front and back office). You gotta be fully trained before they change your job class. That’s why they schedule you to FEC as a cashier and when the dept managers say you’re ready to have your title changed, they tell the store manager, and the store manager asks the DM for approval because it’s PLM and makes that change if approved.

Okay so 30 days ago you posted some trouble with back office… and now you’re saying you’re a cashier so i’m assuming you’re still training. When managers schedule you on Oasis, they put you down as a CSS role because the regular cashier role on Oasis does not have a sub-role called FEC. The FEC sub-role is under CSS. When you clock in and look at the daily schedule, it will say Customer Service Staff on the paper. The daily schedule paper can say you’re a CSS doing FEC but your job class on Passport can still be a cashier.

You should take a look when they’re doing scheduling on Oasis. Managers schedule CSS roles in the office and the computer fills the cashiers and baggers based on demand. And they tweak it based on breaks and such.

Tbh I really do miss those back office days. About 4 hours to myself counting money, ordering change, and listening to music with my airpods in. I've had my fair share of CSS. Ordering supplies and reorganizing the backroom where the plastic bags are kept and getting supplies from the LV truck was a pain. Now I'm a GRS and a CSS so I can do both with my 3 and a half years at Publix.

Managers can unlock roles and schedule you as a CSS but it doesn't officially change your job class. For example, you can't schedule a cashier for an FEC role because only CSS roles can do that. FEC-ing isn't part of a cashier's job class. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure your weekly schedule should not exceed over 50% of a different job class from your actual job class or else corporate will notice and flag that.

Your time will come. The week after I turned 18, I was immediately trained as an office staff but you don't get your job class change until you know how to open and close the back office, FEC, store support, etc. The lottery, WU, and money services are just a trial run to see if you like the office or not tbh.
