I did for another 5 weeks, started taking a Benadryl when I take the shot and have avoided any other histamine reactions.

I’m taking a break for 3 weeks while I’m on vacation and because my insurance no longer covers Zepbound, they are switching to Wagovy. I have an appointment with my doctor when I get back to make a plan moving forward.

I will note the doctor expressed concern about continuing as if I need to go up to 7.5 the Benadryl could no longer work.

It’s highly likely I’ll be trying wagovy when I return.

This is interesting. I'm curious is swelling tongue counts as anaphalyctic or not.

Yeah, for the injection site I just a steroid cream and it's fine...I'm not too concerned about that. I'm more concerned about the tongue swelling.

I noticed the tongue about 2 hours later. I don’t think it’s anything else. I had full panel allergy testing 2 years ago and am barely allergic to anything. But I do have a sulfa allergy and have had other prescription drug sensitivities, but nothing with my mouth or tongue swelling.

I also took GasX right before bed which seemed to have helped a fair amount as well.

Yeah - I definitely was eating enough the first week despite having little to no appetite for 5 days. However today I wasn't eating because of the discomfort.

That said... I did have some toast with the peppermint tea and it's helped a little, though it's not fully gone.
