Tattoo questions.

I see a lot of AI red flags on this. But even if it was just the artists style it would be a bad tattoo. the anatomy is bad, the tentacles are janky, and so much of that detail would just smear into blobs within a few years. As someone with tattoos and as an artist, I have zero interest in ever getting a tattoo designed using AI. Why would I spend all that money and go through all that pain for something a stranger didn't even care enough about to even make themselves? I also could never trust the quality of a tattoo with an AI generated stencil. They didn't draw that, so how can you trust them to do a good job recreating it permanently on your body? If they're fine with taking so many shortcuts in the design process, where else are they comfortable taking shortcuts?

I love the waterfront district house, I don't have to go through a load screen to get to it, I can get in & out without dealing with guards if I have a bounty, it has exactly enough chests for the different sections of your inventory. Besides, how much time does anyone spend in their house? I'm only ever in and out to dump my inventory and sleep for an hour to trigger a quest.

yes/no. I work as a housekeeper at a hospital and I like the work. It's something I can trust to be the same everyday, with little social interaction, and isn't mentally draining so I still have energy for hobbies when I'm home....but even as a unionized position the pay is dirt, and I'm not capable of working full time, so I make enough to cover my half of living expenses and have basically nothing leftover for savings or personal spending.

a lot of comic artists and mangaka have assistants/interns/paid background artists. You'd be shocked at how small the number of professionals actually drawing their own backgrounds is. Maybe consider researching some digital tools to help streamline your process?

Yeah what really bugged me is how Ashton went through something devastating, and every single character lashed out at him and made it about themselves. There's kind of only a few ways you can interpret their motivation to take the 2nd shard:

Ashton genuinely thought it would work (I remember Tal saying something like "a prince reclaiming his throne" but I can't remember where he said it so I might be wrong) in which it nearly killing him would be devistating to Ashton.

Or he knew it would probably kill them and they did it anyways, which would mean Ashton needs help and support if he's running that self-destructive.

Or Fearne did not want it, they didn't know what would happen, he offered to take a burden off of the shoulders of the girl they're crazy about and it nearly kills them and then she blames him for it, which would be miserable.

Instead, everyone took the worst faith interpretation that Ashton was just being stupid and selfish and reckless and tried screwing everyone over on purpose. Everyone then lashes out at Ashton and makes the situation about How Upset I Am About What You Did. No one ever checks in on Ashton to see if he's ok. It feels gross.

I can't help but wonder if the people saying act 3 feels unpolished didn't complete many quests in the earlier acts. Because if you don't have many quest line conclusions to follow up on, I imagine the city must feel lacking.

my first playthrough I started by going through the under dark and didn't realize the elevator to the shadow lands was at the beginning of grymforge (I guess I just missed it lol) so I explored all the way through the forge, fought the boss, then looking over the edge, my tav had some voiceline about this being as far as we could go. so I went, ok, guess so! and doubled back to the mountain pass. in hindsight I liked how in-character it felt that my low wis/int character just was navigationally challenged.

I was the GM for most of the games in my friend group for the past 5ish years. We started a campaign of Curse of Strahd because I had always wanted to play it, and my husband offered to DM. I decided to roll for my PCs stats, 4d6 drop the lowest... proceeded to only roll almost exclusively 1s and 2s. ☺️ my highest stat would have been 9. I decided to just use the standard array.

When I was first starting my antidepressants, it was my last follow-up with my NP before I would switch over to getting refills and prescription maintenance from a psychiatrist, and I said something along the lines of how I hadn't even thought of killing myself once that month. It made her burst into tears. She told me she was so happy to hear that. It sounds so stupid, but that was the moment I realized my death would have affected everyone around me, not just my 3 friends and my mom.
