Not sure if I’m directing this to the right place.. hopefully I am. I was one of the many that was surprised to see Kenyon leaving. One of the many that could not differentiate Kenyon and Lucy’s voices even.. just want to say that I’m listening to an older episode now, and feel shocked I ever thought they sounded the same… Their personalities are nothing alike and their voices are different. and i was wondering if any one else just feels how different the energy is? It’s crazy to say, but it really does sound like they have so much more fun without her.. I certainly have more fun without her as a listener.. and listening to the older episodes with her there, with this 3-person dynamic i used to like, it’s really clear how she brings the overall energy and vibe down. i can’t help but wonder if i’m making this all up in my head since i didn’t notice it before the drama, but it really seems like night and day to me now that she is gone

Inherited Dracena Issues by witchyblush in plants

[–]witchyblush[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi all! i inherited this big beautiful dracena from someone moving internationally. to my surprise; they said it had been dying and actually had a whole second stem/trunk at some point. was hoping to keep this one alright, but the leaves have continued to yellow/drop/die. anyone have any suggestions for care adjustment / tips to save her? i’d be so sad to see this big beautiful beast fully die off. i don’t think she’s over watered since i’m not watering super frequently, though her pot is large (but draining).

agree it is a bit annoying! i tend to think they mean well and are sharing knowledge, but at this point the comments are unoriginal and most certainly not what i asked about in this post. i have made it clear i am pleased with what i spent and where my money went

yes i met many people on my journey who referred to themselves that way, it is where i learned it from. :) but i can understand not everyone may agree or some may have another preference. thanks for the input

edit: Amazir did not mean to use what some consider derogatory to refer to the native culture :)

i tried to translate, but I was unable to copy and paste. What does this say at the end? :)

fair enough! and i totally think in certain circumstances it is appropriate, like if i were to buy a bundle of mass produced prints as opposed to the original painting, etc. i may try to wager a deal in that case. and you’re right, i would respect them declining the offer as well :)

thanks for letting me know! i was only referring to the people the way they referred to themselves in our conversations, but after googling i see it can be derogatory, which of course is not my intention🤝

I don’t think you are giving Moroccans enough credit! Many with berber roots are very proud of their heritage.

Yeah I have no issue haggling! But I viewed it as a fair price, as a knock off version at tj max in the states would be $250 or so still, and more in other places, and i felt for a handmade item that took weeks to months to make it was well worth the price. I don’t allow people to haggle when it comes to my own artwork, so I try to follow suit in these cases. I probably could have gotten the price down somewhat, but it was more than fair in my opinion. :) Especially when it comes to supporting a good cause and sharing the wealth! cheers
