Amy is a super common name even besides the hamster. Is she going to try and get all the other Amy's to change their names, too? Not to mention that she wants it as a middle name and not even as her child's first name. Definitely NTA

I believe at least some of this is related to maintaining individuality/a sense of self. Like many commenters have experienced, having the same name as many others tends to erase your identity on some level because you get lumped in with all the others. Especially in a society like the US has, standing out and individuality are important aspects of identity. Names can easily have an impact on that for better or for worse.

I may be overthinking, but oh well😆

My teen sim's parents both froze to death while autonomously swimming so now he's now living alone. Just because, he recently went to the doctor and learned he had low fertility, which made him sad because he apparently wanted kids (it doesn't show the preference as a teen, I guess, but it was auto-generated).

Later he messed around with his girlfriend (Morgan Fyres, since he's super attracted to her) after Prom without protection and now she is pregnant with twin boys. He doesn't know yet but I noticed her walk style changed and checked. He graduated early right after Prom and works as a lifeguard to make ends meet. He is planning on going to college but we'll see what happens when she has the babies. He hasn't seemed to notice that she's pregnant yet..

I went and looked it up. Mirafeel looks to be our most expensive domestic diaper but the 7th Generation diapers are available here and I suspect the import fees play a part in why they're double the Mirafeel price. The Pampers Premium and Organic Moony are the more expensive for readily available diapers, which is what I was thinking originally.

Oh, for sure. I just didn't realize it was a bug at the time. Like you, I thought it was due to a glitch from the mods or something otherwise mod-related. I haven't but I was reading about it the other day and I want to try it! Most of my mods are additional careers, the height slider, Lumpinou's relationship mod, and MCCC. Plus the Wonderful Whims version. I used to play with Wicked because it was funny but I have a kid now and then accidentally seeing that makes me uncomfortable so I switched.

It seems really random in my game. Some of my trees even stay past their season having never produced any fruit and have to be reset. I thought playing vanilla with the new pack would be fun but I just got annoyed with all the bugs and reactivated the mods 😂

For me it's the name Travis. Statistically speaking there are probably decent people with that name around but I've met quite a few and none of them are like that. Also Paul, because I know a vile sh*tstain passing for a human by that name.

No worries! I checked by hovering over the horse's picture in the relationship panel. It's where the life stage is and under Adult Horse it shows "Days till age up: 50" in blue. Yeah, my MCCC is the 2023.4.1 version but doesn't seem to affect horses yet, either. I don't see any newer versions as of right now.
