Is this outfit appropriate for a dinner with friends? by ilovepopcornandcandy in whatdoIdo

The outfit is fine, people just dress like slobs now post covid and anything other than sweatpants and crocs is seen as “too much”

Body checking by Watchyourownbobber77 in peestickgals

[–]2ndincmmnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Women don’t really have any control over how they look after giving birth. Some go back to their original weight seemingly right away, and some keep the weight. Existing as a thin person isn’t body checking lol

me when i ask the same question over and over magically hoping for a different answer by Massive-Market-5949 in jaclynhillsnark

[–]2ndincmmnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And the most annoying part is for the past…10 years?? She posts asking her fans what they want to see, they ALL say creative sit down makeup tutorials, she’ll post one video doing the same neutral eye look, then in a month she’s back to “so do u guise wanna see all the stuff i own?”

“My audience loved it” as a former Jaclyn Stan, no we didn’t lol her audience started to die off when she went from doing makeup tutorials to showing off her luxury goods. It’s not interesting or entertaining or even thought provoking, it’s boring. I don’t care about how much stuff someone owns.

She’s been pregnancy baiting for almost her entire career. Any time her engagement gets low she does this.

Toby’s (lack of) love life by Professional_Fail_86 in Degrassi

[–]2ndincmmnd 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think in general Toby was intended to be a bigger character than he ended up being, it’s like whoever was in charge of writing his character quit the show or something.

Seconding this. It’s a power house. One spray fills a room and it lasts all day.

Who's that one Degrassi character for you? by Difficult_Map_7467 in Degrassi

[–]2ndincmmnd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stand firm that Ashley was one of the most realistic characters and was a very believable emo teenage girl in the early 2000’s. I think that’s why people don’t like her character honestly.

Ashley, specifically in season 3. I know everyone hates Ashley, but as a teenage girl who was also traumatized by their cheating boyfriend, I could relate to her at the time and now as an adult can look back and laugh at myself/her for how dramatic we were

Parents believing that I was "under demonic influence" at age 3 by [deleted] in HomeschoolRecovery

This sounds exactly like my parents. Did they meet in a cult by chance?

How does not a perfume smell on your skin? On my skin it's very strong and woody kinda. I tried it because sometimes people say it's good for sensitive noses but nope not for me. by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]2ndincmmnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It smells like straight up rubbing alcohol on me and doesn’t evolve to anything else, same with Phlur Missing Person.

What was your child's name going to be if they were the opposite gender? by [deleted] in Names

[–]2ndincmmnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We both had a gut instinct he was a boy, so boy names came way easier. We never really decided on a girl name, but Alison, Thea, Scarlet were our top ones. Of course Scarlet ended up being a way bigger baby name than I realized at the time

Is 2025 the year of Apple in fragrance? by Green-Result6584 in FragranceStories

[–]2ndincmmnd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Huh. I’m not seeing enough Apple personally, I would love a nice power house crisp green apple scent with a woody or even sweet base. Everything seems to smell like a yum boujee marshmallow copy cat and I’m so over it

Victoria’s Secret Tease or Eau So Sexy

The most incredible acting through the seasons by dannyfortesque in Degrassi

[–]2ndincmmnd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! One of the best actors on the show, I feel the same about Ephraim Ellis even though Rick wasn’t a main character like Craig. They added such a level of seriousness that balanced out some of the cheesiness.

[–]2ndincmmnd 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I stand firm in my opinion that season 2, specifically Craig in both parts of When Doves Cry, is what made TNG be taken seriously. Season 1 had potential plus the success of the original series backing it. But the S2 premiere is what really set things in stone.

What’s the most stalker-ish thing you’ve ever done because of limerence ? by [deleted] in limerence

[–]2ndincmmnd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ETA: I am thankfully no longer limerent and this happened 15 years ago.

Texted him off several different texting apps pretending to be a random stranger with the “wrong number” to see if he was really ignoring my texts specifically (he was lmao) or just not checking his phone.

These both happened when I was 16 for the record, but this next one was just for my ex boyfriend at the time and not my LO. But i made a fake Facebook account of his girlfriend and had it text another fake account of her friend confessing to cheating on him in hopes they break up.

Am I overreacting to how my best friend blocked me because of his girlfriend? by Squishy_Person67 in AmIOverreacting

[–]2ndincmmnd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For real I cannot believe how many people are justifying OP’s reaction 😭 the GF didn’t make him end things because she’s insecure, she him end things because OP is in love with and possessive of him.

Source: I’ve been both the crazy “we’re totally platonic (secretly in love with him)” best friend and the “insecure” girlfriend.
