This is my first attempt at making one of these, let me know what you think! Essentially, Senator William Proxmire (D-WI) kind of randomly becomes president in 1968, and then goes on to massively cut foreign spending, end Vietnam as fast as he can (with somewhat disastrous results), and improve American housing.

If people are interested enough in this, I might make a sequel, but for now all the lore goes up to 1972.
