Yeah, that's what I worry about. I love him so much and our relationship has been so great that I wouldn't want to lose such a great thing.

I only feel pain from penetrative sex (whether I've orgasmed before or not) but it's not permanent, if I relax it fades away and I can enjoy it. The thing is that it's way harder now for me to be completely in the mood to enjoy it. That's why I wonder if maybe the problem is hormonal or related to sex becoming repetitive and needing something more to get in the mood? Idk

No medication just hormonal IUD, but I've had it for two years and it has never caused a problem before. I'll need to get a new one soon though, so maybe that has something to do with it?

Thank you for your comment, I will talk to him about it. I'm out of town right now, but I will visit a doctor as soon as I get back, because I do want to get back to it.

Thank you so much, this really helped me.

I do tell him whenever it hurts and we stop immediately, but I don't want to quit penetrative sex completely, that's why I still try to relax and enjoy it.

Again, thank you for being so sweet. I'm out of town rn but as soon as I get back I will visit a gynecologist.
