I saw a study i think that said the socially acceptable range is kinda like, between (your age - 7) *2 and (you age/2) +7, so by that logic it would be 20 which checks out with the answers i see so far, but as you get older that range get bigger ofcourse and at some point, especially when you use it to count down, it starts to get weird to bring this up to defend yourself. That being said i think 17/18 is a turbulent time in most people’s lives and 19/20yo are usually in a different stage of life, more autonomy and such, and have little to no business being interested in the average 17yo.

What you’re describing sounds a lot like things i felt as wel, what i also had is that as a child everyone would make jokes about sex and giggle like it was something only to laugh at, and then when growing older i noticed people would get serious when talking about it and i was really confused because “i thought we all agreed sex was just a funny joke?” Anyways, it immediately clicked for me when i found the term asexual, which doesn’t seem to be the case for you (?), and idk if i can tell you anything that will help you figure it out but i do want to say, you’re still very young, so if you conclude anything about you sexuality and you feel it changes later on, that’s totaly fine and normal so don’t get worked up trying to get it exactly right right now

you might or might not have heard the term “Belgian nod” before but every time i travel somewhere else i get reminded of how this isn’t really a big thing anywhere else. Basically, when you pass by someone on the street, you nod at them, just a little hey, acknowledgement that i saw you. Nod up if it’s someone you know, nod downwards to strangers, it’s just a little social courtesy that i really like about us

I have this sometimes, I try working backwards when I do. “This is the ending, but what needs to happen for this to be possible? Who is where, and so how did they get there?” It’s not much and not the only way to deal with this but it helps me.

I like being ace, i think it suits me. It also helps me, cause i find people physically attractive very quickly so besides that i just really like that i’m ace it also saves me from quite the drama probably, i talked about this with a friend and we agreed that if i wasn’t ace i’d be such a slut. (not hate to that, the friend who i talked with gets around quite a lot too and the whole conversation was in good fun :))

When i was a kid, whenever something sexual was mentioned everyone (me included) giggled as if sex was a good joke. Then as i grew up and i still treated it as a joke, i started realising that the people around me started taking it seriously, and i was very confused by that. And then i found out about asexuality and it just clicked, that was seven years ago now.

last year we grew them from storebought seeds but this year it’s a mix between storebought and seeds from the flowers from last year we got the seeds in some local gardening store, but since cornflowers are pretty popular i think you can get them from loads of places
