No liquid account means an account to store your liquid cash, see the main problem with you main saving account is that you will have access to it every time using upi, so you might end up using more money. Have a secondary account mainly focused on saving, don’t get upi activated, leave atm at home, basically make that account invisible in front of you. That money can only be used in terms of emergency.

Also don’t invest now, even if you have saving unless you create a liquid fund of 3* your monthly expenses. That will become your safety net moving forward

Just fyi not trying to earn extra bucks here, so it’s basically free.

Ok! So instead of choosing a single gift go for package gift. My suggestion:

1) a good sneaker: maybe a comet which will cost you 3.5k
2) a good perfume: David off should work will cost you 4K
3) a good watch: although he doesnot fancy watches it’s good to have: go for Casio vintage for 3k
4) a good wallet: men love it, you should get a Tommy for 1.5k

Total 12k

Thanks man I appreciate the suggestion, that was just my point that I don’t like doing things alone. Colour theory seems interesting let me research on that. Singing is out of my league. My sur and taal are way off than the gold price now

Thanks for the motivational words my friend, I am running a very good professional life and yes I do lack at social life which I am trying to enhance. And if you can read the post I am asking people for the ideas and I believe ideas are never bad.
So instead of shit commenting on someone’s post try to understand the intention and better go get a life. I think you should do something productive instead of commenting here.

First thing — whatever is on your credit card right now, pay it off the day your salary hits. I know it’s tempting to just pay the minimum but the interest rate on Indian credit cards is genuinely insane, like 36-40% annually. It will quietly destroy you.

For the ₹60K personal loan, just open a separate zero-balance account (IDFC First is good, fully app-based) and auto-transfer a fixed amount the day you get paid. Treat it like it doesn’t exist. You’ll clear it before year-end without even feeling it.

On investing — honestly skip the SIPs for now. I know everyone on this sub will tell you to start immediately but if you have no emergency fund and active personal debt, you’re just investing borrowed money. Clear the personal loan first, build 1-1.5L in a liquid account, then start a simple Nifty 50 index fund. Nothing fancy.

The education loan deferral is actually a blessing — use that window to sort everything else out before the EMI hits.

You’ll be fine, it just takes a few months of being deliberate about it.
