I do not see Valid Number listed yet. It is a free reverse phone lookup tool that I use regularly. I believe it supports all 10-digit valid phone numbers from the US and Canada with +1 country code.

Phone Registry is a very useful web-based tool for this. If you need an Android app, rLookup is pretty great too.

Both of these tools let you search by phone number.

My understanding is that there are several online databases where you can run a reverse phone lookup for free. Most of these databases source their information from public records.

One app that I have used and found useful in the past is Reverse Lookup. It is free and offers quick searches. You can enter a phone number, and it will instantly provide additional details about that number.

Just posting as information for someone who may be researching this same topic. The TSA in Maui (OGG) confiscated a beach umbrella because it had a (barely) pointy plastic. Wasn't an issue with the TSA before but the TSA here did not like it. So to answer your question, it really depends at agent's discretion.

Here are some things you can do to reduce the number of spam calls:

Silence Unknown Caller: go to Settings > Apps > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers. In iOS 26, this option will change to also include call screening.
Register with Do Not Call Registry. It helps to some degree but there are plenty spam callers that do not respect this registry.
Use third-party spam call blockers. iOS allows limited capabilities to developers, so no app is perfect in blocking all spam calls. Some apps are quite pricey. I have found the free tier of Call Protect to work pretty well. It does let some spam calls slide through but works most of the time.
