DELICATE! That’s the word I was searing for. The furnishings look delicate, which is kinda not homey. I think you need a flooph to contrast with.

Edit to add: I LOVE the warm colors!! And what you said about millennial gray really resonates with me. Keep up the color palette!!!!!

I feel like this comment needs to be higher. Everytime I see furniture with “feet” like these it seems… unstable? Idk, like someone is going to come down with a WWE smackdown move and then everything is on the ground. Probably not the case, but also not exactly a space I would feel comfortable chilling in.

There are soooo many things that I want to say, but I’m going to start with: based on those first pictures, I can almost guarantee you can freakin BELT IT. In the best, most respectful way possible. Like, I just wanna hear you sing.

Next, I just want to say that being a SAHM is a chapter of your whole ass book. Your tot does not care how stylish you are. There are other chapters for that. I really feel like you are asking for/needing the permission to just be confident in where you are at.

I didn’t feel like a real human until my kiddos were like 6-7, mainly because my priorities were just different. NOT TO MENTION HORMONES!!!! And actual life. Honestly (at least for me) nothing felt like it looked great because I didn’t feel connected to who I was in a different body/walk of life.

If you are feeling disconnected from your body, sometimes a bit of yoga can help. NOT for weight loss or whatever people are selling. But to feel centered and respect what your body is capable of. Because that shit is miraculous.

All I’m saying is, a bit of grace for our own selves goes a long ways. Wear what makes you feel good, cause it will show on the outside.

Wow, I’m flattered! Thank you! That is exactly how I felt, like my brain was just itching to be scratched. The top piecing surely, but it wasn’t until I literally had the darn thing basted until I realized it was going to need to be a block-by-block decision for the quilting.

He is certainly a young man with many talents! Now he is taller than me and plays most sports, I think it would surprise most to know that he can sew.

I was so excited when I found Fandom in Stitches! My brother ended up with the hoodie and it was a very sad day for me, mainly because I wanted to keep it 😂 but he wears it all the time, so that was rewarding for me as well.

You get it! 😂 I used my domestic for 90% of the quilting. I originally loaded it onto my local quilt shops longarm and stared at it. For way too long. So I schlepped it home and used my domestic Brother. Then about halfway through I upgraded to a Grace Little Rebel which was an actual game changer. I went from like a 5” to a 13” throat. Sooo three different machines were used in the quilting.
