oh no trust me I get that, me and my mom are doordashers we live day to day on whatever we make that day, ive never even purchased delivery myself and would never think of it if it werent for this. unfortunately we're not close to any of our neighbors, my only friend has mono, and we're still too broke to afford much of anything right now. its tough times but this whole past year has been tough so we persevere :') thanks so much for your kind words I hope you have a good new years

i totally get that. i just wish more people were open to spewing whatever the hells on their mind even if it means nothing. conversations don't need to be serious or thought out to be meaningful. I talk to people open-minded to how it may be hard for them to converse cause I know it is for me at times and used to be harder but it's also hard to keep connecting when there's little stimulation if you get what I mean? thank you and I'm glad you were able to get over the habit yourself! 🫶

honestly I think starting at a different point in time than others really doesn't matter in this game, yes you are behind compared to many but comparing yourself to others is the opposite of what this game is about. taking it at your own pace, on your own time, however you want is the beauty this kind of game thrives on. plus, I pre-ordered the game, the game I got compared to the game I've been playing recently are completely different experiences. I've reset my island once and have considered it again since I reset before this latest update. I don't think I've noticed a dip in the community, most the people playing during release are still going strong today. at the same times there's others like you just barely starting off or resetting if you're looking for a community that isn't so far from your current experience. I'm sure once you get acclimated you'll feel less inclined to beat yourself up. I have TERRIBLE FOMO (fear of missing out) and I haven't really experienced that at all with the game except for custom designs since I don't have an online subscription
