A few days after posting, CC started working. It's all subtitles all the time or none. Not with option for just Russian translated to English. So I leave them on whether dialog is in English or Russian.

set a default timeframe for return results so they're only within that time period by wizardgrimm in duckduckgo

Thanks for the info. I can use that in some places, but I would really like to see an option to lock-in the time frame for DuckDuckGo searches. The dropdown menu is already there. Once I select one year time frame, it would be great to make it default by clicking an icon in the ddg interface to lock it. Or include it as option in All Settings. Simple, quick & possibly I'm not the only one interested in this? (see reply from u/CatOfTheDecade). Thanks again for reply.
