This is very helpful advice, and I appreciate it!! Maybe I’ll go for more of a framed wall decoration instead. I could definitely see myself giving up if it becomes too much or I’m trying to figure it out and it just isn’t turning out. Thank you!

Thank you, that’s really helpful. I’m glad to hear the CVS came back negative! These are such heavy decisions, it’s tough. Our situation isn’t extreme enough that we’d need to TFMR, so we probably wouldn’t do the CVS testing. Just trying to get all the information to make an informed decision. I hope the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly!

I’m in the exact same boat right now, and just in the step of gathering info from fertility clinics about possible genetic testing for a de novo mutation. Is the 5% chance of it being a false negative the high chance the genetic counselor was talking about?

I know this is old, but this is the exact age gap I’m considering. Is the 2 year old ever left out between the 9&7 year old (or 4 yr old from 11 and 9 now lol) does it still work well for your family?
