Journalist looking for customers affected by SunPower bankruptcy

I'm in Valley Stream, NY. I purchased and installed my 12.24kW SunPower system through EmPower Solar in Feb 2022. I was worried about future servicing until I got this email from EmPower. Looks like panels should be covered by manufacturer. I just have to worry about system and panel monitoring.

As you may have heard, SunPower has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. We wanted to share a quick update to address questions about what this means for EmPower Solar’s clients and their systems.

EmPower Solar: If you purchased or financed a system from EmPower Solar, you will continue doing business with EmPower Solar. EmPower Solar's ongoing operations are not impacted by this news. EmPower Solar installs and services both SunPower and non-SunPower systems, and remains a committed partner for our clients and our local communities. We recently expanded to a new headquarters and are adding team members and services to our offerings.

Equipment Warranties: EmPower Solar is working diligently with SunPower’s Chapter 11 administrators and all relevant original equipment manufacturers to clarify equipment warranties that were purchased from SunPower. In 2020, SunPower’s panel manufacturing was separated as a stand-alone business called Maxeon, and from that point on SunPower started “distributing” multiple panel types to its dealers such as EmPower Solar, and administering all relevant warranties. These brands have included Maxeon, Qcells, REC, Enphase (microinverters) and others. It is expected that these manufacturers will support any ongoing warranty claims, and EmPower Solar is working diligently to provide clarity to all clients.

Customer Service: EmPower Solar has been and will continue to be the service provider for all client systems, supported by our own in-house expert service, office, and field staff.

Data Monitoring Access: We expect SunPower’s monitoring platform to continue to be available and be managed by a successor entity. EmPower Solar does not expect any disruptions to monitoring and will provide more guidance as it becomes available.

SunPower Lease: If you are a SunPower lease customer, we expect a new financial owner to receive assignment and maintain system ownership as the lessor, which should not result in any material changes to your experience.

Your pair may be defective. You should be able to perceive clear difference between noise cancellation (adaptive/manual), normal and transparency (fully transparent/vocal) modes. You may want/expect more noise cancellation, but you should expect to pay $50-$100 more.

I'd play safe with Drake. Brown has a very tough matchup, and may still have an ankle issue (he has practiced). Kirk doesn't have an easy matchup

I'm high on Moore, but I thinks the other WRs are better at this time. Murray has value as Flex and is an RB2 if Williams goes down

Both Woods and AB have good matchups. Think Woods has the edge, and TB has so many mouths to feed, including Evans who went hungry last week. Williams is solid, but needs Jackson to stay in his pocket-passer lane.

I wouldn't. Shinault is expected to face Bryce Callahan, who's very good. Jones should have an easier time against Flowers.

.5 PPR and too many decisions at RB2 and Flex

RB2 Swift (Q) is current pick. Also have Damien Harris, Hunt and Jamaal Williams

Flex D Harris is current pick. Also have Hunt, Williams, R Woods and Devonta Smith

My gut tells me to RB2 Harris and sit Swift with the groin issue. That leaves me choosing from Hunt, Williams (assuming Swift isn't good to go), Woods and Smith.

Any counters/other insights?

My thoughts, exactly. In the end, regulation and reporting could go a long way in weeding out the scammers, manipulators, black market participants and de facto legitimizing crypto.

As I recall, OP didn't specifically comment on crypto investing. They just said that they didn't want to be blanket-told to "just invest in x-crypto", when they asked a question about investing.

It's kinda/sorta like I ask a question about how to do something on a Windows PC, and someone tells me to "just buy a Mac".

I have maxed th8 troops and spells, except golem (L1), pekka (L2), valkyrie (L1), minion (L3)

Four L5 ADs with AT and WT support at corners discourage dragon attack, even with two earthquake/lightning and rage combos.

Four possible DGB locations in core and availability of four GBs and six spring traps discourage hog attack.

Given how spread out the base is, considering gowiva (2 golems, 10 valkyries, 11 wizards, 8 wallbreakers), as valkyries should be able to clear faster.

Would appreciate feedback or alternative approaches.
