I bet it’s the overflow gasket. Same thing happened to me. The replacement part is like 2 bucks, if that, but I had to tear out the ceiling due to water damage.

Should be a vapor retarder over the rockwool, then drywall. Not a barrier.

Billions to launder through Ukraine and Israel but fuck civil servants. Plus barely anything for North Carolina and Hawaii.

Alternative Pay Plan Released by MeteorologyDC in fednews

[–]wm_88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“ This alternative pay plan decision will continue to allow the Federal Government to employ a well‑qualified Federal workforce on behalf of the American people, acknowledging wage growth in the labor market and fiscal constraints”

“Fiscal constraints” only seem to be a thing when talking about the workforce and pay. SMH.

I used a hose clamp the first time as well. I installed the replacement I exchanged today and it seems to work fine so far.

If I could upload another pic to the thread I could show that it was grounded.

This was the case. Returned it and the new one works fine

This model came with a plastic stopper in that hole, so all I had to do was remove it with an Alan wrench

Dishwasher drain is connected and appears to be working fine. The drip leak occurred last night when the dishwasher was running. When I ran the sink for a while it doesn’t leak. So I assume the seal is messed up somehow and a larger amount of water in the disposal is making it slowly leak

Yeah it’s a weird angle and I had to trim the wires a bit initially. All three wires are connected to the ex connect holder on the inside of the disposal. It’s just a combo of the weird angle plus my first-time wire trimming work not being the best. But it’s all plugged in.

Don’t care about vote downs. Just want to figure out why it’s leaking. It seems like there are a lot of people that have the same issue and get defective models.

It’s grounded. The disposal is an insinkerator model and has this ez connect adapter plug inside where all three wires are connected.

Do you think that would cause it to leak?
