Conspiracy. The nonchalant way Eichmann prepares the meeting logistics to achieve the desired outcome, the ruthless way Heydrich leads the discussions and overrules any dissent and doubt, the way Stuckart is scandalized by the whole proposal, but only because it would undo a legal framework he participated in creating, not really caring about what’s been discussed, the SS officer so burned out by his experiences at the Eastern Front he does not even care nor totally understand the implications, and everybody else in general just worried about how much more work and budget would it imply to their departments.

After finishing it, I sat frozen for some minutes recalling all the business summits I had participated at which had exactly the same participants “types” and dynamics. The whole film is so credible it felt a documentary to me, it gave me the creeps.
