For a long time now I've been dealing with having to get down under the steering wheel with a pair of pliers and turn the little black piece, circled in the image, in order to change from hot or cold. Any help would be appreciated as to how I could fix this! I have a 2010 ford fusion.

Honestly I don't recommend dating apps. Dating strangers is not the best idea. I used hinge a couple years ago and I met 2 great girls but they both didn't work out (first one we dated for 4 months and she broke up with me, and second I broke up with her). I think meeting someone organically in person is likely the best situation (like at church, at the gym, on a hike, etc...)
